The photo above is of our backyard area. I keep our large 16 gallon raised planters, peppers, and potatoes back here.I haven't decided what I will put in the totes yet. They are good for one large single plant and an herb usually. Right now I have one that is full of dill and the other contains some sunflowers I will be transplanting around the yard. I am thinking about this year having a couple fall/winter squashes and I think they would of well in these.
I got a new sun catcher/wind chime the other day too! I have had the chicken wind chime, but I saw the sun and moon one at the dollar store and really fell in love with the design. It looks really pretty when the sun is in this half of the yard in the evening.
I also had an idea for putting a small herb garden at the base of the stairs for easy meal picking. I should have enough space to keep all my base herbs and also keep a small hanging tomato plant or two. I actually have a lot of ideas floating around in my head now of what we can do with the garden this year and I am really excited. We still have more weed to pull, and I need a more solid idea of what I need to pick up from the store, but I think we can have most of the garden in by the end of next week.
